Anna whimpered, glancing in the direction of the creatures. She climbed down the tree and managed to hoist Rallin over her shoulders and tried her best climb up the tree. She only managed to get to the lowest branch which was thankfully very thick.

The girl grabbed at my fur and I pulled my panting tongues into my mouth. With her help I was able to climb to a thick branch and cling there, staring at the moving grasses that seemed to near us.
"Who are you?" I called to the approaching shapes, "Reveal yourself."

By now the laughs of the hyenas could be heard. One of teh figures seemed to stand up, apparently being human. He certainly smelled bad. "What's a softy doing in my Territory?"The man asked.

The creature that appeared was not something I had seen before. I studied it's form, and decided that it wasn't something I felt like fighting today.
"Nothing inconsiderate, would you like us to leave?"

"I don't care about you, I want her to leave. Her kind aren't welcome here."The man hissed. Annalita whimpered, hugging onto the tree branch tighter.

The tension of the air was thick. I huffed out my nostrils,
"Fair enough." I stood and looked to the human whoes name i still did not know, "Shall we go then?"

I refused to take my eyes off of this creature as my human friend climbed down the tree. The pack of beasts that followed this insect-like creature hardly fumbled around. They were still, perfectly positioned like a wall behind their leader.
I squinted and slowly made my way down the lone Savannah tree. The moment my paws were on the ground I twitched my tail, and bumped the side of the human girl.
"Move slowly." I whispered and the two of us began walking away.

Annalita nodded and backed away from the Insect-like man, who kept his glare on the two. "IF I FIND EITHER OF YOU TWO IN MY TERRITORY AGAIN I'LL GUT THE BOTH OF YOU!"The man shouted, before resuming his beast form and walking off.
After a while of walking Anna plopped onto the ground. "Oh man, I didn't know Wovlerine-Hornets were here!"She said in a worried tone.

"What?" I started but then raised my paw up, "Hold on."
As a last measure I checked around the area, straining my ears and nose for any sign that we were followed. All was clear.
"You know what that creature is?" I returned to the human and sat beside her.
I had much I wanted to ask her but I remembered my manners at the last minute.
"Apologies, let me start over." I nodded my head, "My name is Rallin. I noticed your scent in lion territory so I tracked you down to warn you." My tail slapped the ground lightly, "I did not think we would end up running for our lives."

"What's a lion?"Annalita asked befuddled. "What ever... my name's Annalita."Anna said. "And yes I know what he is. He was a Wolverine Hornet. One of the worst, meanest, most violent things from where I live. One of them is bad enough but a hive is even worse. They have really big territories and don't like anyone being in them."She said.

I perked my lips a bit and tilted my head.
"I see."
I found it odd that this person could know what that shapeshifting monster was and yet not recognize one of the world's most infamous cat breeds.
"May I ask what you are doing here then Annalita?" I asked, "After all, this area is roamed by more monsters than humans."

"That is rather vague." I mentioned, "What does this home of yours look like?"
I had a suspicion that this girl truly had no idea where she was. There was an ignorant vibe in her voice and she did not appeared to be dressed for travel. If I had to guess, I would assume this girl was still recovering after being placed in this world. She was likely trapped in a denial that insisted that she could just keep walking forward and eventually reach her home.

"Well it's big, made of Bee-Ferret spit and poo, but it doesn't stink thank the Queen. It has a bunch of tunnels that you could probably squeeze through and mroe than a few Bee-Ferrets running around in and outside of it."Annalita explained. "I remember it was in a big snowy mountain. I think my caretaker told me that the Queen chose there to make the nest to avoid the Wovlerine-Hornets which need warmer temperatures to build a hive, and Badger-Wasps who just don't like the cold."Annalita said.
