Anna plopped to the ground to rest. "They're a bunch of thugs."The Elder replied. "Everything in that gang of theirs is more then capable of hunting alone. Some of the village's hunters have seen the creatures in the gang hunting before."The Elder explained. "Not too long ago, the two that had the weird looking armor on them showed up and gathered up that gang. They offer 'protection' in exchange for food. If we don't get them their food they attack the village."The Elder explained.

"I don't really know. My people aren't soldiers."The Elder said. "Most of the creatures in that group have evaded my hunters, or were too dangerous to hunt."The Elder said. "Why doesn't your village have Soldiers? And did the Dusk Screamer steal your Queen's food? How come she hasn't made you any soldiers?"Ann asked, blissfully unaware of village life as usual.

The woman turned her attention back to the village elder.
"Isn't there another village who could help you?" she asked

"Most of the other villages in the area are involved in that gang's extortion, or aren't warriors themselves."The Elder said. "Even then, most villages here are far apart with long swaths of savanna between them."The Elder added. "Wait, you guys don't have a Queen?! How do you make more people without a Queen?!"Anna asked. "I mean, I haven't seen any hives here, so there aren't any honey combs so you can't grow people out of those."Anna said, puzzled.

She sighed, rubbing her temples, trying to think of something to say to the elder. Between the girl-beast's interruptions and trying to access the situation at hand, it was hard to find a solution.
"Do you know where the gang's nesting place is?" she asked the elder

"Some of the village's Hunters have tracked the gang to the mountains to the north west of here. Some time ago some Westerners came and tried to mine in the mountains, they used dynamite and blew a large crater in the mountain. The hunters claim the gang makes that their home."The Elder explained.

"Yes, go find Akpofure. He was the one who lead the hunting party that tracked the gang. Anything you can do would be very helpful and we'd be very appreciative."The Elder said. "Ak...po...fo...fe....uh...."Anna said trying to pronounce the name. "Oh! Akpofoofoo!"She declared enthusiastically. The Elder stared at Anna for a few seconds, as though he was trying to comprehend how she mispronounced the name that bad, before shaking it off. "I wish you both luck on you journey."The Elder said.

"What are we gonna do about the Dusk Screamers?"Anna asked as they headed off. It took a bit, but the two eventually found Akpofure. "Hey! Are you Akpofoofoo?"Anna asked, still not sure how to properly pronounce the name. Akpofure looked up, having been messing with some arrows. "Uh... Akpofoofoo?"He asked confused.

"Alright. Well, from what the other Hunters and I have found out, the Gang didn't exist until a few months ago. Most of the animals in it where out on their own, save for the ones that traveled in groups. But then their leaders, Tyrus and Sallia showed up. After they arrived they began to build the gang up and it got to its current strength."Akpofure said.
