Rallin : ((( This Rp takes place a while after this short story kristintree.deviantart.com/art/Milky-Sherbert-CC-Rallin-s-Transformation-522976538?ga_submit_new=10%253A1427504377 ))) My tail curled up over my snout, keeping flies away from my nostrils as I rested out on the plains. The environment out here wasn't the most comfortable but I was making due. I really had no choice but to relocate to this underpopulated area of the south islands, as a certain number of events caused me to transform from a man into a beast. The change happened suddenly but I adjusted. I really had no choice but to keep my wits and adapt as this world seemed to throw all manner of chaos my way. I was tossed into this reality a human, but if I was to be a beast now then so be it. I've never really been the kind of person to battle the claws of fate. ...That being said, I was not one to overlook the plights of others. Out on the plains, many creatures come and go and some meet terrible fates. The lions that prowl the tall grass will devour whatever they can sink their fangs into. I skirmished with them a few times recently, but thankfully my speed prevailed over their power and numbers and the pride decided to hunt elsewhere. The lions left my sight but I could still scent the creatures. Like a radar I tracked the pride and discovered that it was moving again this afternoon. I payed their actions little mind as I pushed my nose deeper into my tail, but then the wind shifted then, and I caught the scent of something odd. ("A human.") I rose my head, tapping the smells in the air for information, ("Someone I don't know... she's very near to the lion pride...")

Annalita strolled through the plains, glancing at all the new animals. She'd already seen a Giraffe and tried to make friends with it, but it clearly wasn't interested in her. She found a Hyena and wanted to try and keep it as a pet, but quickly decided otherwise when she noticed it was eating some kind of carcass. So far from hat she could tell she wasn't in the East. She hadn't seen any Bee-Ferret hives and had thankfully not seen any Badger-Wasp nests. While they weren't exactly the most aggressive creatures she could think of, they certainly didn't like Bee-Ferrets.
She continued roaming before noticing a few shapes roaming around in the tall grass. She noticed a rock and climbed up on top of it, gasping when she saw another creature she didn't recognize. "Maybe he knows where the East Direction is!"She said excitedly, hopping off the rock and running over to the creature. "Hey! Do you knwo where the East direction is?!"She called. Unfortunately, she was running straight towards one of the lions.

Rallin :
I was on my feet and searching for the source of the human scent. I hoped to warn the wandering person, perhaps even chase them away from this area before the lions find and ambush them. Through the grass I trotted and stopped as the lion scent was becoming nauseatingly strong. The pride was not far away but I could not see them yet. I perked my ears, searching for something out of the ordinary when a voice cried,
"Hey! Do you know where the East direction is!?"
My claws gripped the dirt and I flattened out on the ground. Again my eyes searched but I couldn't find the human. Luckily I still detected thier scent though, so carefully I began creeping closer to where I figured this loud stranger would be.

Annalita was saddened when the lion didn't respond. It certainly seemed to be aware of her presence and was staring right at her. "Uh, do you even talk?"She asked approaching the lion, unaware that the rest of its pride was sneaking around her. "If you can speak you just have to say no."Annalita said.

I froze, eyes wide, as I realized the lions were roughly twelve strides before me. I could scent them perfectly, their fur, their drool, the blood that still clung to their lips from their last meal. These smell charged into my nose and bashed my brain, urging me to flee. I wanted to, but I also remembered why I was here, what I needed to do.
"RUN HUMAN!" I barked in a language I hoped the stranger would understand, "They'll kill you RUN!"
The lions reacted to my cry by charging the human and I dashed, hoping I could be faster.

Annalita yelped, side stepping when the Lion in front of her lunged at her. She immediately darted off, with the Lions giving chase. Thankfully, Anna's had a few weeks t og et used to her new body, and she was thankfully a fast runner. Despite this she wasn't faster than the lions which were quickly gaining up on her.

Rallin :
Suddenly the human, the lions, and myself were all charging like a multi-species stampede. Luckily the commotion disguised my entrance as I slipped in closer behind the pride of lions. Among their bodies my dark mane and mammal form blended in, and the luck of it gave me an idea.
"Keep running human!" I ordered, thankful that the lions would not understand my words, "I'm going to come up behind you. Please get on my back when I tell you!"
The stranger wouldn't be able to locate me among the pride of lions, but I had a clear view of her. At this distance I could tell she was a girl, thin and darkskinned with a bright and unmistakable outfit.
"Trust me and I can help you!"

"Wh-What?"Annalita asked confused. The Lion at the head of the pride swiped at Annalita. Thankfully its attack didn't hit, though it almost caught her false tail. "Hey! Don't touch that!"She said, pulling her false tail in front of her. "HURRY UP PLEASE!"Annalita yelped.

Whether or not the girl was prepared for what I was about to do was irrelevant. At the moment the only things that mattered to me was managing my breath, running my feet, and putting this plan into action. The lions running beside me began to wise up to the faker among them. A lioness' eyes slid to me and I opened my mouth. My teeth slashed into the cat's head and she yowled and toppled over her feet. The other lions reacted to the distress and stopped but I kept charging ahead. I passed up the beasts at the back of the pack, and slipped up behind the lead runner. This head cat jumped away as I came up to her side, and stood confused and panting when i just kept on running.
"I'm behind you now." I called, quickly catching up to the human, "On your left!"
If the girl would turn her head she would see a lion sized monster galloping beside her. My red eyes were intense and dry from running so hard, but hopefully this person wouldn't be scared away.
"Get on."

Annalita didn't wait and soon hoped onto the monster beside her. She he;d on tight, trying not to fall off.

The tug of my mane in the girl's hands was my que to give my legs a last push of speed. I forced my stride to grow longer, straining for each claw full of dirt to ensure that every movement counted. I had limited stamina, and my speed would run out, but before then I decided I had to get this lass to safety.
On the horizon a lone tree stood, thick trunked and sturdy. I turned to it and managed to reach the tree just as my heart and lungs began to cry for a rest.
"Climb- up-" I heaved, panting over my twisting tongues. The lions would easily be able to track our scent but this tree, I hoped, would be tall enough to protect the girl from their grasping claws.

Annalita did as instructed and immediately began to climb up the tree. She stumbled a bit, having not climbed in her human form before, but managed to get to a high branch and lied down on it. "Thank you." Anna said.
Else where in the plains stalked a large bulky beast. It was the height of a lion but was built like a bear. It was certainly an odd sight. It was covered in thick brown fur with white markings. Its back wasn't covered in fur, and instead had a shiny and hard black and yellow exo skeleton. It had six limbs, four arms and two legs each easily being capable of bringing down a buffalo. On its back were two rows of six thick and powerful wings. It's tail was long and striped with yellow markings. Like most of its back, the tail lacked fur, save for a large tuft at the tip.It had what seemed to be a constant glare in its four eyes, with the back most eyes being rather large. Following the beast was a pack of Hyenas it managed to take control of. Due to its odd appearance this beast was clearly nto an ambush predator, and was more than content to break into bee hives and steal the honey, or steal carrion from other predators. It had old wounds on its hide from a failed attempt to steal from the pride of lions. IT learned from this experience and got a 'pride' of it's own which consisted primarily of Hyenas, Jackals, and Wild dogs. It was planning on finding the Lions and taking them out, before a familiar scent caught its attention. It's glare turned to the lone tree in the distance that Anna and the Monster had climbed into. It's wings buzzed as it snarled and slowly headed towards the tree.

RALLIN :
I panted, placing my paws on the tree but realizing I was too tired to actually climb up. I gulped, forcing the last of my spit down my dry throat as I turned away from the tree and stood on the ground.
The lions caught up to us a few minutes later and appeared ready to attack me. I braced for their charge, but suddenly the cats backed off and vanished into the grass. Confused I gave the air a sniff, and realized there was a scent I didn't recognize coming this way.

"Come on get up here!"Annalita said. "What if they come back?"She asked. She noticed several more shapes approaching them. "What are those?"She asked.

RALLIN :
At this point I knew my legs were struggling to hold my body upright and steady. I sat down, slapping my tail to the dusty ground and staring in the direction that the odd scent was approaching.
